In Parker, Colorado, Michael Green, 50, and Byron Bolden, 37, were recently sentenced after being convicted of retail theft at a Kohl’s department store here…that said, the two tried to persuade the jury that they shouldn’t face felony theft charges…because the KitchenAid appliances and clothing they stole were…“on sale”…oh, and that’s not all…
In St. Petersburg, Florida, Anthony Michael Lessa, 23, was (apparently) intoxicated…when he entered Rick’s Reef, a St. Petersburg seafood joint here…he then “was throwing gator nuggets (found in his right pants pocket upon arrest) into the restaurant”…and when confronted by employees about flinging the nuggets…he “became belligerent”…and then things got weird…
In St. Louis, Missouri, Vincent A. Groves, 43, was arrested and accused of stealing electrical transformers and selling them for scrap… but he has an explanation…
In Hyak, Washington, an unnamed motorist was recently assessed with a hefty fine for improperly fitted tire chains…oh, and by improperly—well, boy do we mean improperly…and yes, we have pictures…
And finally, in Monroe County, Florida, troopers were chasing Courtney Epps, 41, the driver of a Chevrolet SUV…who refused to stop…after driving recklessly (90-120 mph)…and on the wrong side of the road (which, admittedly is also driving recklessly)…so, they used a “pursuit termination device”…twice…which (eventually) led to the SUV losing “several tires”… and that isn’t all… but after she was stopped, and while getting checked out at the hospital…she began loudly singing gospel songs…and then alternated between sleeping, singing and talking to herself during treatment…and then also…this…
