TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek … and yet, just look at what has happened to these guys and gals…

Image: Shutterstock.comIn Jiangsu Province, China, the Taizhou Zoo found itself without pandas to exhibit…so they “improvised”…

In Namibia, Africa, on the Chobe River…a “Terrifying moment hippo attacks tourist boat sinking its huge teeth into vessel after charging across Namibia river.” And yes, we have (scary) video…

In Lincoln, Nebraska, the moment a tornado destroyed a building here…one in which there were dozens of workers still inside the industrial parts complex when the extreme weather event struck—but all survived. Incredible video.

In DuPage County, Illinois, a reenactment of…cicada brood emergence? And yes, we have video…

Seriously?

From the “people with WAY too much time on their hands department…Did Miss USA Noelia Voigt's resignation statement contain a hidden message?

And now for the main “events”:

In Margate, Florida, Enderlin Leonce, 33, has been arrested and booked into the Broward County jail on a criminal mischief charge…more specifically for using a metal tool to etch a message on a car…not that it was difficult to connect him to the crime…he had carved "the name is Enderlin Leonce" on the driver-side hood of the vehicle in question…though one has to question his judgement considering what kind of vehicle it was…

In Brooklyn, New York, we may not know exactly why a chicken crossed the road… but we do know where…

In Northeast Miami-Dade, Florida, an unnamed employee at a cellphone store was asked by a potential patron for the use of their phone to text the patron’s mother…and she did…and gave him back his phone… but then she managed to slip in another transaction…

In Columbus, Ohio, Jeffrey Wonser had his request for a customized license plate rejected by the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles…they deemed the string of characters to be profane, obscene, sexually explicit or scatological …at least according to Jeffrey’s suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, which claims the BMV violated his First and Fourteenth Amendment rights, and caused him to suffer economic and emotional injuries. So, what’s the string of characters?

And finally, in Pompano Beach, Florida, Terry Jennings, 24, was seeking help from officers in a parked squad car here…and while he may well have required assistance, it was arguably from circumstances of his own making…and so, he got assistance, but probably not exactly in the manner that he’d hoped…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
