TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

If you think you’ve had a bad week, just remember – it could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)…

In Ephrata, Pennsylvania, police and fire personnel responded to a parking lot here about 4:25 a.m… to deal with a car that was on fire… ah, but what started the fire is what’s really different…

In Denver, Colorado, Matthew Jerimiah Pemberton, 25, decided he needed some time off work… so he forged military documents… claiming he was attending U.S. Army training and needed time off with pay… Now, Matthew turns out to be Deputy Sherriff Matthew Jerimiah Pemberton… and, “by fraudulently taking military leave, he is alleged to have cost the city and county of Denver approximately $20,365 in his pay and the overtime pay for other deputies (452.59 hours’ worth)” …as it turns out a staff member noticed irregularities in the fake military orders… one that will surely surprise you…

In Laverton, Australia, a group of unnamed fuel thieves… tapped into the fuel tank of a tour bus… or at least they thought it was the fuel tank…

In Austintown, Ohio, Damien K. Clark Jr., 20, was pulled over just before 4:30 a.m. one recent Saturday… after allegedly failing to use his right turn signal… The officer noticed an unusual odor… and that led to a search of the vehicle… which led to the finding of cocai.ne… in Damien’s sock… Ah, but Damien offered up an interesting alibi…

In Boynton Beach, Florida, Mikkel Dankner, 40, got upset with his mother… apparently the pair were in their backyard… when Mikkel asked her to dress… his mannequin? Well, Mikkel’s mother refused to do so… at which point he stood in the doorway… blocking her from getting back inside the home… at which point she pushed the mannequin to the ground… and then things got weird(er)?...

In Black Canyon City, Arizona, Jessie Atom Riggs, was spotted driving a red Jeep SUV at a high rate of speed (100 mph)… not to mention “tailgating, driving all over the road, and making rude gestures”… Well, police tried to initiate a traffic stop… but Jessie wasn’t stopping… and that led to a chase along I-17 here… Troopers later spike-striped the car, taking out the two front tires… and Jessie was finally taken into custody at a QuikTrip gas station here… but what he did right before that was, by any definition, unusual…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
